Silk Baby
First there was Levi Baby, now there is Silk Baby. I spotted these shiny pants in Buffalo Exchange at their Houston location last summer. And maaannnn, I was hyped. I thought (and still do) that they were so dope. I questioned why anyone would give away such funky pants. One man's trash is another man’s treasure I guess. Deep. Although my admiration for this item remained high, I have waited until recently to actually wear them. I think because styling them how I envisioned and then finding the correct time/occasion to stunt them took some moons. They were a bit too cool for fall, and winter... not even a chance in the state I live in. So spring time it is baby! And actually spring is my favorite season even though Minnesota doesn't get to hold onto it long enough. This chartreuse blouse paired with the pants, also belonging in the silk family, is thrifted as well. Cheers to sustainable consumerism, something I am very passionate about and glad to see it becoming more popular.
Lastly, introducing a new shoe to Loon Look. I have the personal belief that sneakers look good with almost any outfit and I very much needed an all black pair alongside my all white (or off-white) Nike Huarache sneakers. These chunky Calvin Klein sneaks were a birthday gift back in February and I don’t think I have stopped wearing them since, they simply add a perfect little spunk to any fit. I think we can all agree that this is probably my most colorful look but I’ve been really into working bright/pastel colors together or even doing a one color monochromatic look. Alright now check out the picssssss. <3
